The board is composed of Mr. Marco Landi, Chairman, Yannick Levy and Khaled Maalej from DiBcom, Glenn Collinson, co-founder of CSR, SGAM represented by Xavier Lorphelin, Cipio Partners represented by Tom S. Anthofer, Partech International represented by Jean-Marc Patouillaud, 3i represented by Marc Oiknine, Crédit Agricole represented by Michel De Lempdes. The following board meets monthly and/or quarterly at DiBcom.
Marco Landi
Mr Marco Landi was COO of Apple Computers and President & General Manager at Texas Instruments Europe. Marco was then President of BMC EMEA. He was responsible for the entire business, customer satisfaction and quality orientation of the company in this geography. He is now acting as the President of Atlantis, a consulting firm specialized in IT and Telecommunication. He has been Chairman of DiBcom since 2004.
Yannick Levy
Yannick Levy received his engineering degree from the Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité, Paris, France and a PhD from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, IN, USA, in error control coding. Upon his return to France, he joined the signal processing group of Sagem in Paris. Since then he has been working on several projects, including the design of professional digital equipment for TV broadcast and interactive modems, over cable and satellite TV distribution networks. As Project Leader for all head-end equipment, including the network management systems, Dr. Levy played an active role in the Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) and Digital Audio Visual Council (DAVIC), where he chaired the group dealing with the definition of interactivity over cable TV networks. He was editor of the ETS 300 800 specification, which was adopted by ETSI in September 1997. After several years at Sagem, he joined for a short stint Société Européenne des Satellites, where he developed in partnership with the European Space Agency a unified specification for a Satellite Interactive Terminal. At Atmel Corporation, he was manager of the design/marketing team created in Paris by himself and other engineers from Sagem, and produced a complete Digital QAM Receiver. After starting DiBcom in June 2000, Dr. Levy is acting as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Khaled Maalej
Khaled Maalej received his engineering degree from the Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau, France, and an advanced degree in Telecommunication from the Ecole Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris. He has been working for SAT/Sagem for five years in the Signal Processing Group where he co-developed several integrated circuits and optimization code for QPSK receivers over satellite and QAM receivers over Cable Networks. He participated in the design of the first QAM digital demodulatorfor DVB-C receivers. Khaled was project leader for an ADSL/HDSL modem as well as a Cable Digital TV Set Top Box. Later, he led the development of an integrated circuit for a two way interactive system over Cable, including QPSK demodulation, QPSK burst modulation, ATM, Ethernet, and MPEG2-TS interface. Most recent, he acted as Technical Manager of the broadband communication business unit within Atmel Corporation, and participated in the design of a 1024-QAM demodulator in which he concentrated on the carrier synchronization and equalization. Khaled is presently acting Chief Technical Officer and General Manager at DiBcom.

Glenn Collinson
Mr Collinson is a co-founder of CSR. He served as an executive director on CSR's board as Marketing Director and then Sales Director between the Companys’ foundation in November 1998, through IPO in Feb 2004 and up to May 2007. Between October 1996 and 1999, Mr Collinson served as a senior engineer and then as a marketing manager at Cambridge Consultants Ltd. Prior to that, he served as a design engineer and marketing manager at Texas Instruments, Motorola and Racal. Mr Collinson holds a B.Sc. in physics and an M.Sc. in electronics from Durham University, and an MBA from Cranfield University and is a member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers. Age 44.

Xavier Lorphelin
In 1996 Xavier started as Project Manager in the Silicon Valley based headquarters of Flextronics International, the leading Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider. In 1997 he co-founded JSource Inc, a technology company focused on developing Java based embedded solutions for smart cards and payment devices. As Vice President of Professional Services, he served and secured key industry players such as Visa International, American Express, Sun Microsystems, Gemplus or Schlumberger. In 1999, Xavier co-founded an investment company, aXelerate Partners, to help the development of early stage technology compnies in Silicon Valley and France. He also launched in 2000 Kangaroo Village, a French 'Start-up incubator' sold in June 2002 to Société Générale Asset Management (SGAM). In June 2002 Xavier joined SGAM Private Equity as a Partner in charge of the Venture Capital activity. Xavier Lorphelin holds an MS in Engineering Management from Stanford University, a MS from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and a BS from Ecole Polytechnique.
Tom S. Anthofer
Tom Anthofer is a Managing Partner of Cipio Partners, a leading international investment management firm in the secondary direct market. He manages a number of early and later-stage venture capital and mid-market investments and oversees the firm’s realization and exit management function. Prior to founding Cipio Partners in 2003, he was a Partner and served as Managing Director of Broadview Holdings LP (nka Jefferies Broadview), New York/London, one of the largest investment banking and private equity firms dedicated to the Technology, Media and Telecommunications industries. Before joining Broadview in 1992, Tom was with Nomura Group, the investment house, and Mitsubishi Corporation, the trading company, in Tokyo and New York where, since 1987, he had responsibility for both organizations’ principal investments in Medical Equipment and Information Technology companies. Tom earned a BA degree in Economics and holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.

Jean-Marc Patouillaud
Jean-Marc joined Partech International in 1996 focusing on communications and components investments in French speaking countries and Israel. Jean-Marc has a long track record of successful exits including IPOs with Lannet (GIAN), RadVision (RVSN) and Alvarion (ALVR) and major trade sales with Fluxus (acq. by Cable and Wireless), ISDNet (acq. by Cable and Wireless) and Apogee (acq. by Colt). Prior to joining Partech, Jean-Marc was an IT partner at Finovelec, a Paris based VC firm affiliated with EDF and IDI and managed Genèse Investissements, the first French Seed Capital Fund affiliated to France Telecom, Credit Lyonnais and Finovelec. Before Genèse Investissements, Jean-Marc spent 6 years at Alstom where he was an International Project Manager in the Nuclear Power Plant division. He currently sits on the board of directors of Alchimer, In-fusio, RealEyes3D and Resolute Networks. Jean-Marc attended Supelec Graduate School in Paris, France and studied Engineering. He holds an MBA from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Paris, France.

Marc Oiknine
Marc joined 3i Paris venture team as Director. He joined 3i in 2007 with a 7 year experience in Venture Capital. Prior to joining 3i, Marc worked for Atlas Venture as Principal in the technology team focusing on investments in Internet, Mobile and Software.
Marc worked closely with management teams of companies such as DailyMotion (video sharing), Sporever (sport content for mobile and web devices, listed on Euronext), Soisic (sold to ARM Holdings) and RealEyes3D (mobile Applications).
Before Atlas Venture, Marc spent four years at Credit Lyonnais Private Equity where he helped co-found the Venture Capital business.. Before Marc was an Investment Banker in New York and Paris within the Technology group at Clinvest (Credit Lyonnais IBD Group)
Marc holds a Master’s of Science from EM Lyon (France) including a program at Ecole Centrale (Lyon) and with the London Business School. He is fluent in French, English, Spanish, Arabic and Hebrew.

Michel de Lempdes
Michel de Lempdes started his career at Crédit Lyonnais Americas (now Calyon Americas), where he was involved in the structuring of LBO operations and the creation of a private equity fund of funds at Crédit Lyonnais' Leverage Finance Sponsor Group in New York. He then joined the Crédit Lyonnais Private Equity (now Crédit Agricole Private Equity) venture department in January 2001, where he is responsible for investments in Hardware. Michel serves as a director on the boards of EVE, Avertec, Novaled, Tronic's and Dibcom. Michel de Lempdes is a graduate of the Reims business school. |
